Shan Chen, MS

Hello, my name is Shan Chen. I am a Ph.D. student at Harvard-MGB AIM, where I am fortunate to be advised by Dr. Hugo Aerts and Dr. Danielle Bitterman.

I am also affiliated with the Boston Children’s Hospital Computational Health Informatics Program (CHIP). In my research, I collaborate closely with Dr. Guergana Savova and Dr. Tim Miller. My primary focus is on enhancing the safety and performance of large language models used in clinical practice.

I am especially dedicated to ensuring that these models are fair and unbiased, which is critical in healthcare settings.
