Ciel Wang, MS

Hello, my name is Ciel Wang. I am a master’s student (graduated this May) at Center for Data Science at New York University. In my research, I collaborate closely with Dr. Sumit Chopra at NYU and Dr. Danielle Bitterman at Harvard Medical School. Through my various research experiences, I have become deeply interested in the role that clinical notes play in the application of machine learning, particularly NLP, in healthcare settings. I am excited about gaining meaningful insights from clinical notes to contribute to the development of more efficient, accurate, and equitable models for clinical decision-making and prediction. Now I am also working on a project that leverages the knowledge of individual radiologists on disease diagnosis using Chest X-ray.
