Dr. Bitterman has been awarded the American Cancer Society-American Society for Radiation Therapy Clinician Scientist Development Grant. This 5-year award will support research and development of NLP methods, including large language models, to phenotype long-term cardiovascular and neurocognitive side effects of radiation therapy in lung and brain cancers.
